Thursday Evenings - Community Nights

Thursday is a night for the local community to gather together, hear updates about what's happening, pitch in on the latest project, and enjoy a shared potluck meal. Interested in being a part of what's happening? Then stop in!  Be sure to contact us for details.

Iyapi na Wakalapi nains Cankalapi
Language and Coffee or Tea!

Have you ever been at the Center or ceremony and heard something in Lakota and wondered what was said? Well, now is your chance to learn! All winter, we gather in the Community Room for the Iyapi na Wakalapi nains Cankalapi Series. 


Join us for a discussion of the Lakota language. You will need a notebook, and pen or pencil. Grab some coffee or tea and we'll see you soon! For the upcoming schedule click here.


Movie Nights

Our Movie Nights & Indian Taco Sales allow us to educate the general public about important issues facing Indian Country today. They also allow us to fundraise for the many Elders, communities, and causes that we support.

Veterans Honoring Dinners

Never forget, our Veterans have committed to serve and protect the People and with this commitment comes great sacrifice. With our quarterly Veterans Honoring Dinner we honor and give thanks for their service and sacrifice. If you want to support or volunteer click here

Ceremonies

Ceremony is ongoing throughout the year, but the Center hosts monthly Sweat Lodges (Inipi) including a Dawn Inipi on the first Saturday, a Workday on the Second Saturday, a Community gathering on the third Saturday, and a Women's Inipi on the third Sunday of every month.
